what is pla straws ?
With the formal implementation of the plastic ban in 2021, the traditional plastic straws commonly used in the market have been gradually replaced by PLA biodegradable straws.
PLA straws are biodegradable straws, which are made of PLA material, known as polylactic acid in English and polylactic acid, also known as polylactide in Chinese. PLA is a new type of biodegradable material, which is made of starch raw material proposed by renewable plant resources (such as corn).

PLA straw- emulsified from corn or starch, is a natural source of raw material. The tolerance temperature is from -10℃ to 80℃, which is close to the plastic straw, and has the same physical properties as the traditional plastic straw, so there is no discomfort in daily use. At the same time, after being used and discarded, it can be decomposed into water and carbon dioxide in 45 days under compost condition, which will not cause ecological pollution. It is a very good environmental straw.

Common plastics are incinerated and cremated, releasing large amounts of greenhouse gases into the air. Poly (lactic acid) plastics can be buried in the soil and degraded, and the carbon dioxide produced goes directly into soil organic matter or is taken up by plants instead of being released into the air.
